The Pillowman was performed on an empty floor of a downtown office building. Using two-quarter round seating, we topped out at 65 seats and had one night with people willing to stand to see the production in the middle of December. Our lighting consisted of two clamp lights and a single bulb over the interrogation table.

Katurian’s story interludes were animated and projected over the set using a borrowed Proxima projector on a Mac. We used three different animators to give each story a singular feeling.
